MOUNTAIN GETAWAYS
One&Only Moonlight Basin | Big Sky, Montana
The first One&Only resort in the United States, Moonlight Basin is currently being crafted amidst the frosted mountains of Montana. Here, alpine adventures and striking natural beauty will blend to create a mountain experience like no other in winter 2024/25. The vast, 8,100-acre expanse will be a destination for every season, including winter, when deep layers of snow are coveted by skiers the world over. Spring, summer and autumn will equally delight guests with biking, biking, kayaking and fly fishing.
Rosewood Schloss Fuschl | Salzburg, Austria
Surrounded by mountains and forests, the legendary Rosewood Schloss Fuschl is set to open in 2024 just a short transfer away from picturesque Salzburg, Austria. Positioned on the banks of Lake Fuschl, this historic propriety is reminiscent of a fairytale castle and has been welcoming guests for centuries. The reimagining of this 15th-century landmark protects the property’s heritage while modernizing the resort experience with 98 guest rooms, including 46 suites and six chalets.
SUNSHINE ESCAPES
The Vineta Hotel | Palm Beach, Florida
Set to open in the second half of 2024, The Vineta Hotel is a quintessential example of Mediterranean Revival architecture which Palm Beach is renowned for. Most recently known as The Chesterfield, the landmark building will be reborn following a top-to-bottom renovation. Reducing the room count from 57 to 41 to allow for a more generous sense of space, the hotel will offer a range of accommodations, featuring fresh and bright interiors with a nod to the city’s distinct island lifestyle.
Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol | Baja California Sur, Mexico
On the stunning southern coast of Mexico’s Baja peninsula, travelers will soon experience Cabo’s Golden Corridor when Four Seasons’ Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol opens in early 2024. Marking Four Seasons’ second resort in Cabo, this location is designed like a modern hacienda-style village with sparkling ocean views throughout. Ask me about guided expeditions to Magdelena Bay; fly by helicopter, then board a luxury yacht to explore this remarkable wetland habitat, home to whales and four endangered species of sea turtles.
CITY ADVENTURES
Aman Nai Lert Bangkok | Bangkok, Thailand
Amid the skyscrapers of central Bangkok, Thailand’s first urban Aman hotel will rise from Nai Lert Park in 2024. History and nature will tell a new Aman story, one entwined with the exceptional legacy of Thailand’s revered Nai Lert family and a peerless experience of the Thai capital. Designed with wraparound views, open-air terraces and an innovative central atrium, this 36-story building will encompass 52 suites and 50 residences with unparalleled leisure and entertainment facilities.
Collegio alla Querce | Florence, Italy
Auberge Resorts Collection’s latest European escape, debuting in 2024, takes inspiration from the artistry of Renaissance greats who blended past and present. Tucked north of Florence’s cobblestoned centro storico, wrought-iron gates will open an exquisite cluster of reimagined 16th-century UNESCO buildings that once served as a cultural institution, preparatory school, chapel and theater. Guests will gaze upon panoramic views of the iconic Duomo, the terracotta cityscape and miles of winelands.
JOURNEY BY TRAIN: MALAYSIA’S SIGHTS UNSEEN
I’m excited to share Belmond’s iconic Eastern & Oriental Express is returning to the rails in February 2024 with two new seasonal journeys through Southeast Asia. With restyled interiors, elevated onboard experiences and enthralling journeys encompassing gastronomy, architecture and the arts, this train will stylishly immerse you in Malaysian culture.
Essence of Malaysia (November to February): A gateway into Malay culture, this three-night journey will traverse the country’s western wonders, from Singapore through Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi and finally to the colourful, multicultural island of Penang.
Wild Malaysia (March to October): This journey covers the untouched areas surrounding the “Jungle Railway” toward the Eastern side of the peninsula. You’ll also have the unique opportunity to visit the Taman Negara National Park, home to hundreds of species like tigers and leopards.
