A popular global destination, Dubai is the United Arab Emirates’ elite urban jungle, as rich in tradition as it is in extravagance. A centre of tourism and business for the Middle East, Dubai offers travellers unique experience and modern luxury around every turn. Check out our exclusive insider’s guide for everything you need to know about travelling to Dubai.

When to Travel
Situated in the Arabian desert, Dubai’s climate can be characterized as hot and humid year-round. The summer season, lasting from April to October, sees temperatures as high as 40°C! Peak travel season coincides with Dubai’s “winter”, November through March, as this time of year offers some relief from the heat (expect temperatures around 25°C).
From October 2020 to April 2021, Dubai will host the World Expo, a can’t-miss international event showcasing culture, collaboration, and creativity from around the world. Notably, this year’s expo will be the first ever held in the Middle East, and should definitely be taken into consideration when planning travel to Dubai!
Where to Stay
The legendary sail-shaped silhouette of Burj Al Arab Jumeirah is more than just a stunning hotel – it is an icon of Dubai. Rising from a man-made island, 280 meters from the shores of the renowned Jumeirah Beach and designed to resemble the graceful sails of an Arabian dhow, it soars to a height of 321 meters, dominating Dubai’s coastline. The all-suite hotel offers 202 luxury duplexes with stunning views of the Arabian Gulf, private beach access, and a breathtaking terrace with pools and cabanas, as well as nine world-class dining venues, including the highly acclaimed Nathan Outlaw at Al Mahara.
Italian luxury meets Arabian hospitality at the Armani Hotel, Dubai’s multi-award-winning property with a sleek, modern touch. From spacious suites to high-tech business centres, every element of the Armani has been carefully curated by Giorgo Armani himself, blending timeless style with the latest technology to meet every traveller’s unique needs. Centrally located in the iconic Burj Khalifa amidst Downtown Dubai’s urban jungle, the Armani’s understated elegance and sophisticated service has earned it over 27 titles, including “World’s Leading Hotel” at the 2018 World Travel Awards.
Nestled on the calm shores of Dubai Creek, Park Hyatt Dubai offers travellers an idyllic escape from the high energy of the city. Nominated the World’s Leading Corporate Resort in 2019 and former titleholder for the Middle East’s Leading Conference Resort, business and leisure travellers alike will delight in this desert resort, reminiscent of a tropical getaway. Stunning views of the Dubai skyline, an on-site infinity lagoon, and private balconies in each room make Park Hyatt the perfect place to unwind after a long day of work or travel.
